About the role
Currently, we are looking for a Web Designer for our key client, a boutique digital agency that specializes in crafting and optimizing modern websites and digital presences to drive customer acquisition. Serving clients across Graz and the DACH region, the agency combines cutting-edge design with strategic services like SEO, Google Ads, and social media marketing. Their offerings also include full-service content creation, design, copywriting, video, and photography—ensuring a professional and engaging online presence. Known for their creative excellence and hands-on support, they also empower businesses through workshops and training, helping clients take control of their digital growth and reach audiences where it matters most—online.
We are looking for a Web Designer to create and develop user-focused websites using WordPress and Elementor Pro, improve existing sites, and implement SEO and performance optimizations while staying up to date with design trends.
Your duties
As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Independently conceiving, designing, and technically implementing innovative websites with a focus on usability and user experience using WordPress/Elementor Pro.
- Proactively improving and further developing existing websites.
- Directly communicating with customers to coordinate concept, content, and design.
- Independently developing and implementing requirements and creative ideas.
- Optimizing website performance.
- Conducting on-page search engine optimization.
- Independently observing innovations, standards, and usability trends.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Web Design or a similar digital creative role.
- Proficient in using the WordPress backend and Elementor Pro with confidence.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong comprehension skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Creative problem-solver who thinks in solutions and implements them effectively.
- English language Upper Intermediate (B2) is a must.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge in the areas of page speed, search engine optimization, and online marketing.
