About the role
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Python Developer with a primary focus on back-end data processing and integrations for our key client, a pioneering AI security company dedicated to helping enterprises innovate safely while staying ahead of evolving threats. The cutting-edge platform delivers unmatched protection and performance, empowering organizations to unlock AI’s full potential responsibly. We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to build secure, scalable AI-driven applications with a focus on data integrity and performance. This role involves optimizing backend services, creating intuitive front-end interfaces, and leveraging AI tools for efficient development.
Your duties
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing robust data processing pipelines to enhance the existing economic data analysis platform
- Creating new capabilities for the product and specifically to build additional data integrations.
- Building and integrating new data sources into the platform, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity
- Collaborating with the team on architectural decisions, contributing to the evolution of the system
- Utilizing AI coding tools like Cursor and Replit to optimize development workflows and boost productivity
- Writing clean, well-documented code with a focus on test-driven development and high test coverage
- Working with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly to process and visualize data effectively
- Leveraging AWS tools like S3 buckets to manage and store data within the platform's pipeline
- Participating in meetings and discussions to align with team objectives, while maintaining flexible working hours
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on backend data processing and integrations
- Proficiency in using AI coding tools such as Cursor and Replit, with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Experience with Python 3.11+ and Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly for data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., S3 buckets) and basic understanding of data pipelines
- Basic understanding Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test-driven development (TDD)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to build scalable, modular, and secure applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documenting code
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, leveraging AI tools to enhance development productivity
- Ability to discuss architectural decisions, though not solely responsible for making them
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must
Nice to have:
- Experience with data integration or economic data analysis platforms
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms like GCP or Azure
