About the role
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager for our key client, a Germany-based company, to lead the development of innovative products in the geospatial data industry. By leveraging AI, mobile cameras, and blockchain technology, the company offers real-time dynamic mapping solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and predictive analytics in autonomous driving, smart cities, and mobility. Their products, including a mobile app and data monetization platform, allow users to collect real-world data and earn rewards, contributing to a decentralized geospatial intelligence network that powers the future of mobility.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This role will involve managing the entire product lifecycle, conducting market research, gathering user insights, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and well-versed in AI, blockchain, and geospatial technologies.
Availability for 40 hours per week (between 9am-6pm CET).
Your duties
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Creating a product roadmap based on the joint vision.
- Gathering customer feedback, primary and secondary market research, and internal ideas, evaluating and - prioritizing them, and communicating priorities.
- Ideating and creating tech and user stories, improvements, mockups, and prototypes in collaboration with the Designer, CPO, and CTO.
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing it based on changing requirements.
- Exploring ways to increase product usage and user growth.
- Providing vision and direction for the development team, spending 1-2 weeks every 2 months with the team in Hamburg or Lisbon, especially during MVP launches.
- Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development.
-Overseeing community support from the product side and managing/organizing L2 support and escalations to L3 technical support.
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
- Working with internal and external customers to analyze needs and align the product roadmap to strategic goals.
- Being accountable for the product(s), delivering in the product model, and communicating product needs with business partners.
- Representing the team in front of stakeholders, clients, and users.
- Increasing understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technology opportunities, and other emerging trends.
- Working in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-time Product Owner.
- 2+ years of experience in product user growth.
- 2+ years of PO experience in Web3 and/or community-driven products.
- 1+ years of PO experience in data products.
- Proficiency in the use of analytics tools.
- Understanding of business value related to features and functions.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must.
Nice to have:
- PO experience in B2B or B2G products.
- Experience with Gamification.
- Professional experience in Smart City projects.
- Excited about Web3 and DePIN.
