About the role
Currently, we are looking for a Junior Mobile App Developer to join our key client's growing team, a leading company specializing in data-driven insights and empowering users through innovative technology. The company delivers valuable market insights to top CPG companies, agencies, and e-commerce providers, and offers a B2C app, Rita Data, which allows users to control and earn from their own data. The company is dedicated to shaping the future of data-driven decision-making by ensuring user privacy and creating engaging, user-friendly experiences.
We are looking for a Junior Mobile App Developer who will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features for the mobile application, collaborating closely with design and backend teams to ensure high-quality, responsive user experiences.
Your duties
As a Junior React Native Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining engaging interfaces using React Native.
- Translating UI/UX designs into high-quality, clean code
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring best practices for high-quality code
- Writing efficient, maintainable code while troubleshooting and resolving app performance or usability issues
- Staying current with emerging trends and technologies to continuously enhance the user experience
- Embracing opportunities to learn new tools and techniques in a supportive, collaborative environment
Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional experience in mobile app development with a focus on React Native.
- Experience working with Expo and deployment processes (APK/IPA generation, Play Store/App Store submissions).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of state management using React Hooks, Context API, or Redux.
- Experience with tools and libraries such as React Native Vector Icons, AsyncStorage, and Push Notifications.
- Ability to optimize performance by implementing efficient FlatLists, lazy loading, and reducing re-renders.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- English language Upper Intermediate (B2) is a must.
