About the role
Currently, we are seeking a top AI Engineer for our key client, Inovient, a US-based company leading the way in AI-powered marketing solutions. Specializing in generative AI (GenAI), company helps businesses automate and accelerate marketing workflows, from demand generation to content creation and SEO optimization. With a diverse client base that includes startups and Fortune 500 companies, they are committed to delivering impactful, measurable results. Their global team collaborates to push the boundaries of marketing automation, offering AI/ML-driven tools that enable companies to scale effectively and achieve digital growth.
We are looking for an AI Engineer who will focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. Work on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, developing and optimizing advanced AI models to enhance automation and efficiency.
Remote position with a required overlap of 4-5 hours in California time zone.
Your duties
As an AI Engineer you will be responsible for:
- RAG Systems: Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance content accuracy by combining retrieval-based methods with generative AI
- Model Maintenance: Monitor, retrain, and update models to ensure consistent system performance and AI quality
- Data Processing: Handle large datasets, build data pipelines, and design features to improve AI input
- API Integrations: Develop and maintain real-time API connections for customer sentiment, media performance, and historical data
- AI Model Development: Design, build, and fine-tune machine learning models, including generative AI and large language models (LLMs), tailored to meet specific business needs
- AI Evaluation: Ensure transparency using techniques for model explainability and interpretability
- Collaboration: Work with data scientists, software engineers, and business teams to integrate AI solutions into broader company platforms, ensuring they align with business needs
- Performance Tracking: Optimize models in line with KPIs, supporting predictive insights for marketing
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for AI models, pipelines, and tools for scalability
Requirements
- 5+ years in AI/ML engineering roles with hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine
learning models, particularly generative AI and LLMs
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining RAG systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model deployment and scaling
- Proficient in software development practices (Python, Git)
- Proficient in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with data retrieval systems (e.g., Elasticsearch, Faiss)
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools
- Familiarity with modern LLM technologies (e.g., OpenAI’s GPT-3, GPT-4)
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a -related field
- English language upper intermediate (B2) is a must
